Regardless, many believe that developer-created customization is on the way for Battlefront 2. Letting modders use any cosmetic mods in an online match opens the game up to problems like skins that make players harder to see or the like. Perhaps EA has a chance to be the good guy here and allow user created cosmetic mods in Battlefront 2, but there are conflicting views on the whether they should be allowed or not. ![]() These mods probably lie in the category of “Content” as explained in the TOS. This TOS does say that “You may not access, copy, modify, or distribute any EA Service, Content or Entitlements unless authorized by EA or permitted by law. That question was posed on EA’s support forum, where an EA Community Manager replied to a Battlefront 2 player asking if using mods in the game would get you banned.ĮA_Barry said, “So long as the mods do not change how the game functions and are just for visual effect then you should be OK.” Though he does point out the EA Terms of Service when qualifying his answer. ![]() While these mods can be installed to Battlefront 2 on PC quite easily, whether or not EA will allow them to be used without banning players is another question entirely. Over on Nexus Mods, user Destauch uploaded a pink Darth Vader skin for the game. Mods recently started popping up for Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PC.
